For Shopify

Drop WearRoom into your Shopify product pages in five minutes.

WearRoom installs on Shopify exactly the way a tracking pixel does — one script tag in your theme. Works on every Online Store 2.0 theme, every classic theme, and Shopify Plus. No app install, no review process, no checkout customization.

Install steps

Five minutes to live on Shopify.

  1. 1
Add your first product in WearRoom
Create a WearRoom account, add a product matching your Shopify SKU, and upload product photos. Our pipeline generates the 3D try-on model.
  2. 2
    Copy the embed snippet
From your WearRoom dashboard, open the product and copy the two-line embed snippet (a div with your SKU, plus the v1.js script tag).
  3. 3
    Open your Shopify theme editor
Shopify admin, Online Store, Themes, Edit code. Open product-template.liquid (legacy) or main-product.liquid (Online Store 2.0).
  4. 4
Paste the snippet on the product page
Drop the WearRoom embed where you want the Try it on button to appear — usually next to the Add to cart block.
  5. 5
    Preview and publish
Reload any product page. The Try it on button appears next to Add to cart. Tap it on your phone and the try-on opens in a modal.
Notes for Shopify

On Online Store 2.0 themes you can also drop the embed into a Custom Liquid section block — no code editing needed. The widget is theme-agnostic: same render quality on Dawn, Refresh, Sense, and any custom theme. It does not interfere with the Shopify checkout, the cart drawer, or theme app extensions.

FAQ

Shopify questions.

Does it work with Online Store 2.0 themes?
Yes. The embed is plain HTML and JavaScript, so it renders identically on Online Store 2.0 themes and classic themes. On Online Store 2.0 themes you can also drop it in via a Custom Liquid section block.
Will it slow down my Shopify product pages?
No. The loader is a 2.4 KB async script. The heavy try-on code only downloads when a shopper taps the button, so PageSpeed and Lighthouse scores do not move.
Does it support Shopify variants?
Yes. Set data-wearroom-sku to the variant SKU. If your store maps a single product to one try-on model, you can use the parent SKU instead.
Does it work with Shopify Plus and custom storefronts?
Yes. Shopify Plus, Hydrogen, headless setups, Liquid Ajax cart — anything that lets you place a script tag works.
